Bieber's $4.99 "cheap hotel slippers" sold out almost immediately and fans are begging him to restock.
A-list singer and professional heartthrob Justin Bieber knows a thing or two about travel. After all, he’s been going on world tours since he was a pre-teen. Which is why it came as little surprise this week when he launched his very own line of hotel-inspired slippers. However, what you may find a bit perplexing is the fact that the entire stock of slippers sold out in mere hours.
The slippers are reportedly a part of Bieber’s own fashion label, The House of Drew, which USA Today noted is also Bieber’s middle name. On Wednesday, Bieber posted about the $4.99 "cheap hotel slippers" on Instagram, adding they are "super soft white slippers with the iconic smiley face design."
Over on The House of Drew’s website, the slippers are described as "perfect for drew house guests and anyone who enjoys slipping their feet into something cozy at the end of the day." They are also billed as both unisex and “one size fits most,” just like real hotel slippers.
Bieber’s wife, Hailey Baldwin Bieber, also posted about the slippers, simply captioning her post “Merry Christmas.”
Little is known about Bieber’s line. In fact, we don’t even know if it is a line or just these slippers. On the company’s about us page, it just reads, “Drew House is a place where you can be yourself. Wear like you don’t care. Come chill. K. Bye.”
Still, fans are clamoring for more with dozens commenting on Bieber’s post asking him to restock the cheap slippers so they can get their hands on them too. Though would-be Bieber shoppers should be warned, Refinery29 isn’t even convinced this line is real yet. Maybe, for now, just stick to stealing real hotel slippers instead. We won't tell.
