3 Days In The Northern Of Vietnam
Day 1: Mai Chau – Son La ( B )
We take a nice mountain road to crosse the big area unhabited mainly by Thai peoples. In between of bif Thai communities, some smalls groups of hill tribes like Green Mong et Red Mong live together in exploring their rocky land to cultive the corn. Visit of Red Mong village in Xa Linh and somes stops for pictures in Moc Chau hightland.Afternoon, we drive on bancony road and follown a long a river to reach Son La before night. Overnight in Son La
Day 2: Son La – Than Uyen ( B )
Heading out of the town, we spend a full day travelling into Vietnam’s most mountainous region. The roads are difficult at times, but the spectacular landscape with a mixture of terraced fields and hill villages makes the hardship all worthwhile. On the way, we have some opportunities to encounter the Red Hmong, Kho Mu, Mang, Dao people who still retain their age old cultural traditions and are recognisably distinct from each other by their dress. We arrive in Than Uyen by late afternoon and have time strolling around to catch our first glimpse; a small town surrounded by breathtaking mountains and tea plantations. O/N in Than Uyen.
Day 3: Than Uyen – Lai Chau ( B )
It is true to say “the further you go up north the faster you heart rate”. Today the drive is greater with more winding road, longer passes, more colorful minority groups and more stunning scenery. Like yesterday, we may have interesting stops to visit villages and take photos. Lunch en route in local restaurant. The highlight of today ride could be Hoang LiIen Son mountain range that you can see at the end of driving, covered by so many villages and platations .Climbing and descending the slopes with their many bends and deep gorges is a really an unforgettable experience. We reach Lai Chau in the late afternoon. Upon arrival we stroll around to explore the new town. Dinner and overnight in Lai Chau.
