1. Bokeo Nature Reserve

This place was built for the purpose of preserving black-cheeked gibbons – the extinct animal species. It will be difficult for tourists to visit the Gibbon reserve, an ecotourism project that combines conservation.

Guests will be living on the tree house and walking by swinging the rope. The reserve is home to many elephants, bears, tigers and water buffaloes. 2. Nong Kiau

Nong Kiau, also known as Nong Khiaw, is an attractive tourist destination in Luang Prabang province thanks to its climbing tourism. The bridge connecting the two banks of Nong Kiau across the Nam Ou River is a place not to be missed.

3. Tham Kong Lo

Tham Kong Lo is a limestone cave lying in the Phu Hin Bin National Park. Situated on Phu Hin Bin River, this is one of the famous geological wonders of Southeast Asia. The cave is over 6.5 km long and has a height of up to 91 meters.

Than Kong Lo

The cave also has a lake of pure water that people worship because they think the water reflects the skin of Indra, a Hindu god. Tourists can visit by boat and overnight stay.

4. Luang Namtha

The capital of Luang Namtha province is the largest city in the northwestern region of Laos. This is a popular place for mountaineers, especially those who choose to travel to Laos by mountain climbing from China.

You can visit the villages of ethnic minorities here by crossing the hills. In addition, renting motorbikes or mountain bikes is a good way to visit nearby villages and waterfalls. 5. Si Phan Don

This is a beautiful island cluster located on the Mekong River system in southern Laos. The Khone River flows through the Khone waterfall and a chain of 9.7 km of rock rebellious to cripple all means of water.

7. Wat Phu

This is a complex of ancient Khmer religious complex located on Phu Kao Mountain in Champasak Province. This Hindu temple dates from the eleventh to the 13th centuries and was once part of the Khmer empire stretching from Angkor to the southwestern part of Cambodia.

Wat Phu can be small compared to Angkor, but the crooked houses, crooked crocodile marshes and broken tree trunk has created a very mysterious atmosphere.

8. Vang Vieng

Vang Vieng is a tourist city a four hour drive from Vientiane. Established in the 14th century with the name Mouang Song, then the French changed its name to the present when occupying the city.

9. Vientiane

The capital of Laos was once a French colony. So you can easily see the influence of the French on the streets here. The most interesting destination here is Pha That Luang – a Buddhist temple dating from 1586 – 49 meters high and is said to preserve the treasures of the Buddha.

This is the most famous tourist destination and once the capital of Laos. Luang Prabang is located at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers, which is home to many Buddhist monasteries and temples.
